Do not turn off your computer
If you see this screen, please leave the computer on for 1-2+ hours. This screen was caused because you turned off the computer during a vital update. When the computer is back in operation, please check your settings in DSLR Remote Pro because they might have been reset as well.

If you are at an event and need the booth running as soon as possible then you can try the method below. Please note that this might cause an even more fatal error and this should only be used under an extreme emergency.
1) Make sure your computer is plugged into the power
2) Restart the computer by holding down the power and sound keys at the same time - If this doesn't work, then hold the power button down to restart while holding down the F8 key on your keyboard at the same time. Make sure the keyboard is charged and the receiver dongle is plugged in.
3) You will now be taken to a screen that says "See advanced repair options" or "Restart my PC" Press Restart my PC
4) If you restart and it's still giving you issues, then go back to screen in step 3 and click "See advanced repair options." Choose the option that restores computer back to settings previous to updates
